Model MG
Remote Status Display (via Ethernet)
A 100base Ethernet jack mounted on to the back side of the Door of the MG controller allows the Microguard to be remotely monitored, either directly on to a PC screen via the Internet (TCP/IP) and Java, or via TCP/IP and customer programming.
Built in to the Ethernet Jack is a web server that displays the following screen when the IP address of the Microguard is accessed.
The top of the screen shows the configuration of the Microguard, including any options.
The pylons display the total # of beams and show any beams that are currently being blocked (this example shows 2 beams blocked)
Documentation is available for customers to write their own PC program to read data directly from the Ethernet port. An example program would be able to determine the size of the blockage and/or its location within the curtain. Combine this with a Cascade Microguard option and configure the pylons in an L shaped would allow position/size determination in X and Y dimensions.
